Haven’t had the chance to try this one out yet so not sure how it tastes, but turmeric is great for inflammation. According to a Huffington post article, some patients found that Turmeric extract supplements worked just as well as ibuprofen. So cool!

In addition to icing and elevating the knee it is definitely worth incorporating turmeric into your diet post injury or surgery.
